Gemma Ryan is the founder of The Little IP Company and a dual qualified Solicitor (non-practicing) and Chartered Trade Mark Attorney. With over 18 years experience in the legal sector and 12 years specialising in intellectual property law, Gemma has handled everything from trade mark and designs applications to complex infringement cases. After working in the corporate world, she decided there had to be a better, more personal way to help brands protect their IP. In 2022, Gemma took the leap and set up The Little iP Company, combining her expertise with a more human approach to IP law.

Gemma's mission is to make legal services more accessible, offering straightforward, commercial advice without the jargon. She works closely with clients of all sizes, from startups to established brands, providing practical and client-focused support.

At The Little iP Company, Gemma fosters lasting relationships with clients, acting as an extension of their team. IP is serious business, but Gemma believes the process can be friendly, simple, and focused on what matters most—your brand.

Trade Mark Formalities Specialist

Isabelle has been part of The Little iP Company since August 2024, handling all things trade mark formalities. From client onboarding to IP admin, she makes sure everything is in order and that trade mark and design applications, as well as renewals, run like clockwork.

Isabelle loves helping clients through the process, ensuring their IP is in safe hands from start to finish. Whether it's managing paperwork or keeping on top of renewals, she’s always ready to lend a hand and make sure everything goes smoothly.

Legal Assistant and Social Media Guru

Jade has been with The Little iP Company since April 2024, supporting the team with all sorts of legal tasks and ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. She’s also the one behind our social media, bringing the fun, friendly side of The Little IP Company to life while keeping you updated on everything brand protection.

Whether she’s drafting documents or crafting our latest Instagram post, Jade loves being part of the team and sharing our IP expertise with the world in a way that’s engaging and easy to understand.

Accounts Manager

Louise joined The Little iP Company in April 2025 as our Accounts Manager. She looks after all things finance-related, from keeping track of our records to ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.

Louise is also the friendly voice reaching out to clients and suppliers when it’s time to talk about accounts. With her attention to detail and approachable nature, she keeps things organised and efficient, helping the team focus on providing top-notch service to our clients.
